New Beginnings And Dance Clothing Line

This year has been filled with new beginnings for me in so many ways. I love new things, whether they are goodies for me or new happenings in my life, I happen to like the new.

So firstly I started my own studio (Studio of Motion), which is turning out to be a great success. A very welcomed thing as I have worked my but off to get here.

Matt and I moved in together, into a very nice little place – stunning, safe, and comfy. We got a kitten, named Linux, as our dog Grishko was way too lonely on her own. The two of them love each other and spent all morning cuddling through the storm – very cute.

I have also now started my own line of dance clothes available on order. Online shop coming soon, but not rite now as there are only so many hours in a day. However, here are a few of the items in the shop. I would also like to say thanks to my friend Kat for being my model for these clothes.

Things I Love At This Moment.

We all know that you go through stages in your life when you love various things. Here are a few of the things I am loving at this moment. Some of these things are long-term-loves rather than just at the moment loves but they belong on this list too.

1. My Boyfriend (long-term-love) who constantly comes to check up on me when I am sick.

By the way i have food poisoning from KFC. This is not fun people, especially as I don’t have time for this food poisoning. I have deadlines to reach and now they must be reached from my sick bed.

2. My oh-so-cute hat and fingerless/mitten gloves.

3. Weekends away in Dullstroom.

4. My COMPLETE series of Sex and The City box set (long-term-love, Hat). I have longed for this box set for three years and after waiting and hinting at birthdays and christmas’ and not receiving I decided to treat myself to it. I now can’t treat myself to anything for the next few months but that is besides the point.

5. Buying my friends gifts. I love buying birthday presents and watching people open them. I think I love it even more than receiving gifts.

6. Emily over at Cupcakes and Cashmere. I just love her blog.

7. Incense and Candles while sitting in bed watching Sex and The City.

Progression

This is what I call complete laziness! I really don’t think there could be anything more lazy than this. This is my dog. It started off yesterday with her watching recorded episodes of So You Think You can Dance with me. Slowly but surely she dozed off…Here are some photo’s of her Progression.

Now That’s what I call lazy. I found this hilarious. Couldn’t help but share it!

Weird Day

Ok today was quite a day. There are a few things I won’t mention as I don’t think the people involved would be very happy if they come across it on my blog. These are the things I will mention.

Firstly I get to my 9.30am lecture and the lecturer claims she can’t find her laptop “So no class for today”. Yeah like people often misplace their laptops…it’s quite common. I always misplace mine!

Then, on my way into Hatfield to buy a book for my English module, this guy on a bike flies through the red robot leaving me thinking “yeah, that’s an easy way to get killed”. After coming out of the bookshop and on my way back to campus (actually on the next corner) I see the guy crashed his bike. That’s not cool. As much as I want to say he was looking for it, I still feel for the poor guy and I really hope he is ok. Couldn’t really tell – only saw the bike and ambulance.

Back to the bookstore subject. I ran (and drove) around Hatfield searching for this book, as I have an assignment on the book due for Friday. When I finally got to the last one (the 4th bookstore) they had it. Yey. Urm…not! I already have the book. Now how stupid am I to search high and low for a book I already have.

When I get back to varsity I’m a bit early but no worries I have a lot of reading to catch up on for English so decide to go sit in the lecture hall (if it’s open) and read while waiting for my class. I peeked into the little window in the door and saw very few people in the class and they all have English with me. Guess I’m not the only early one. So I swing open the door and stroll in. What did I find? A lecturer staring at me! She was actually very nice considering I walked into her class 30 minutes late, and didn’t have the book they were reading. She told me it’s ok and that I can download it off the Internet and it’s all in the study guide (btw it’s not even the beginning of the semester when new people would be joining,it’s actually close to the end). OK so those students are in my English class but they are also taking History of Ancient Cultures. Sounds fun doesn’t it?

I then had dancing from 3.40-8.40, which left me exhausted. So I plonk onto my bed with a plate of food and watch “Lipstick Jungle”. Great new series on SABC 3. After that I decide to go to bed (as I have had such a busy day).

So I start getting comfy when I find a dead fish in my bed, yes you read correctly. A DEAD FISH!!! The fish turned out to be Matt’s fish. He found it extremely funny. Gross. We then found out it was Grishko (our dog) that carried the fish to bed. Yum!

When tweeting all this drama a gogga also flew up my nose! This just isn’t my day! Actually I find it all rather hilarious. I know if it all happened to someone else I would laugh so I can’t help but laugh at myself too.
