Valentines day is only a week away

Hearts. Cute cards, mugs, and teddies. Cupid. And red roses. All symbols we all know to represent Valentine’s day, the day of love. Although, this day only truly became associated with romanticized love in the middle ages, around the time Chaucer was around, it is loved by many of us, and then again some think it’s all a plot to spend money.
Because of this, I have decided to celebrate Valentine’s day on a budget this year. No bought gifts. All hand made. All special. More than that I can’t say yet. But, as it is also a leap year, it is my duty as the woman in the relationship to make the day special. And I can’t wait.
For now, I leave you with a few pretty things in the spirit of Valentine’s. A great dance as well as the famous kisses we all love so much.
