To a healthy year ahead

Posted on February 20, 2012 in Misfits.

This year is all about health. Mental health, physical health, environmental health, emotional health.

Matt and I decided to go the water way this year. This means no sweet fizzy drinks or juices. But instead, just water. After we moved into our new home, we kind of got lost when it comes to our regular exercise routine. Today marks the day we start again. Matt has also agreed to eat veggies (so we stocked up this weekend from the Food Lover’s Market). We have also decided to make a point of recycling (not as easy as it sounds, as we don’t have recycling rubbish removal available to us).

So our daily plan of action is as follows; Wake-up and eat our yummy homemade fruit salad, muesli and yoghurt and leave the house {all by 5am}, gym {leave by 7am}, sit an hour in traffic, hopefully arrive at the studio in time for a good cup of coffee before my morning classes start {until 10am}, admin and general work, work, work {until just after 1pm}, and then it’s time for my afternoon and evening classes {until 7.30pm}, then it’s home time, dinner and sleep.

I’m exhausted already! But I am looking forward to  having good health overall.

I also want to start recycling :) I’ve been wanting to do the green thing for quite some time now but I’ve never gotten that push! I’ll take this as the push; knowing other people are doing it too makes it easier. I know nothing of recycling though… Where does one take things? What all can be recycled etc etc? I see some heavy googling in my near future! :D

I’m so glad to her this Tom. You will have to find out what is available in your area. Some areas do have recycling rubble removal. Happy googling :)
